DYT Choir Triumphs with Community Project Award on International Women’s Day 2024

In a heartwarming celebration of community spirit and empowerment, DYT Choir has been honoured with a prestigious Community Project Award on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2024. This significant accolade was presented during a memorable event organised by Nadia Ali, the CEO of Make a Difference community group, dedicated to nurturing understanding and collaboration amongst the diverse communities within Greater Manchester.

Held at the illustrious Hardcastle Suite in Edgeley Park, Stockport, the award ceremony was a vibrant confluence of fun, dance, laughter, and inspiring stories that highlighted the essence of women supporting women. "I'm absolutely blown away that DYT Choir won this award. I honestly thought that we weren't going to win as we were in a different category to the one we were originally nominated for. It made my day when I heard DYT Choir announced as the winner of the Community Project Award and I couldn't be prouder of my team and all the choir members."
